SAFARI OVERVIEW

Your Guide: Jonathan and Angela Scott
Group Size: Maximum 6 participants (Minimum 4 participants required)
Recommended for: Photographers of all levels that want to experience and photograph the best of African wildlife in pristine wilderness while improving their photographic skills.
Fitness level: Low to Average - You will be required to climb onto and off a safari vehicle and do some short walks. The terrain over which you drive is unpaved and can be bumpy and dusty.

Mara North and Naboisho Wildlife Conservancies with Jonathan Scott

We have always believed in leading from the front and so for our 2024 season we have arranged that Jonathan & Angela Scott will be joining us for this entire safari. You will be hosted by these legendary wildlife photographers and conservationist who have spent over 40 years documenting the ecosystem and its spectacular big cats. Jonathan and Angela are the only couple to have both won the overall BBC wildlife photographer of the year award; they have written numerous books on the Mara and have produced many TV shows. The most well known being BBC’s The Big Cat Diaries which was a worldwide success. Jonathan will join us to share his love of the Mara, inspire, educate and present talks on conservation to us in what is essentially, his home. During your visit, you will have an unprecedented opportunity to enjoy time with one of the Masai Mara’s largest stars, learning from his experiences, sharing his company and being inspired by an extremely passionate and amazing individual. On this safari, there will be 3 vehicles with a maximum of 2 guests per long wheeled based vehicle, ensuring that everyone has ample room to photograph from. In addition, you will have one C4 Photo guide with you in a vehicle at all times. This is the greatest benefit of an exclusive Mara Safari.

Low tourist numbers compared to the Masai Mara National Reserve (Low impact tourism) Privately run.
Hosted by Jonathan Scott, who has spent over 45 years documenting the ecosystem and its spectacular big cats.
Off-roading is permitted but regulated.

Photography Highlights

Photograph incredible and iconic African landscapes.
Above average predator photography particularly lion, leopard and cheetah, but also a chance for the African wild dog.
Good control at sightings, far less vehicles at sightings compared to the rest of the area.
Three private vehicles with a maximum of 2 photographers per vehicle.
