The Zambezi and the Luangwa—are magnets for wildlife and they are the prime destinations for an exclusive new African safari designed by master photographer Frans Lanting and author Chris Eckstrom, in partnership with Shem Compion, co-founder of C4 Photo Safaris, one of Africa’s premium safari companies. Frans and Chris know Zambia well from fieldwork for National Geographic, and together with Shem, an accomplished nature photographer, they will combine their expertise for a safari experience that includes great opportunities to observe hippos up close from hides, and to photograph the classic wildlife of the African bush—from lions, leopards, and elephants, to buffalo, giraffe, and elusive wild dogs.
