The brand new sleep out hide adds to the already brilliant wildlife viewing of this large wilderness area and compliments the already existing and famous Matebole hide on Mashatu.
Join us for this groundbreaking photo safari- it is the first-ever photo safari for Australians that features exclusive access to the Lala Limpopo sleep-out hide. Meticulously crafted for photographers, this safaris will be hosted and guided by Melbourne based photographer, Jay Collier. With over 16 years of expertise leading premium photo safaris in Africa, Jay Collier brings his extensive knowledge and passion for wildlife photography to this photo safari. Jay’s experience of Africa and his sound teaching practices ensure you’ll capture stunning images whilst in Africa.
This safari is specially planned to maximize two distinct hide experiences, offering prime opportunities to photograph Africa’s wildlife up close and from a new perspective. Lala Limpopo sleep-out hide allows you to capture amazing images from dusk till dawn. A dedicated lighting system allows images of beautiful wildlife images at dusk and at night.
In addition to the Lala Limpopo hide, you will enjoy three dedicated hide sessions in the Matebole Hide, known world-wide for amazing photography opportunities, with many photo awards being won from images in this hide. These hides are strategically placed to attract wildlife, providing an intimate and unobtrusive way to capture their natural behaviours. Jay’s expert guidance will help you make the most of these sessions.
Mashatu is known as a photographers paradise. The diverse terrain means you have a variety of locations to traverse through, encountering beautiful landscapes, a variety of wildlife, amazing elephant encounters, thrilling predator sightings and incredible birds too.
