SAFARI OVERVIEW

Your Guide: Shem Compion
Group Size: Maximum 5 participants (minimum 5 guests required)
Recommended for: Experienced travellers looking for new subject matter and authentic experiences. Photographers of all levels that are looking for very special photographic opportunities.
Fitness level: There will be walking to and from your photo opportunities, mostly over flat terrain on uneven ground and potentially other activities such as boating. Road conditions are rough with unpaved roads that are bumpy and dusty. Not appropriate for guests using mobility aids.

We take care of every detail from the moment you arrive until the end of your safari.

This is not a safari, it is an expedition of exploration to a place not many people manage to access.

Ennedi, is in the middle of Chad’s Saharan desert. It is inaccessible, remote and difficult to access. Yet it is amazingly beautiful and alluring, with rock arches, domes, culture and oasis’ that make it a remarkably beautiful place to visit. It is known as one of the most enticing places in Africa to visit. We will spend 7 nights exploring the massif by 4x4, being based out of the beautiful brand new Warda camp run by the legends of the Sahara, SVS Chad who hold a collective knowledge of the Sahara that not many people on Earth would ever be able to replicate. Adventure runs thick within the blood of any Saharan exploration and a semi permanent camp was good enough for 7 nights, the rest dictated by the terrain and weather on a truly authentic fly camping journey across remote parts of the Ennedi that in truth, very few people have the privilege to witness each year. As a company that likes to run safaris to remote destinations, C4 Photo Safaris has put together an exploratory trip to Ennedi in February 2027. This will be a real adventure where we will be have the Ennedi massive as our canvas to explore and photograph to our hearts content.
