The options are endless. NamibRand Nature Reserve offers camelthorn trees and grassy plains overlooking the Naukluft National park while Sossusvlei lives up to its reputation as the best dune photography in the world. It doesn’t end with dunes though, as Dead Vlei and the smaller, other pans and dunes will keep you entranced for days.
Displaying a diversity not many people appreciate, Namibia also offers some excellent alternative wildlife photography. The endemic and unique species of the coastal dune fields will capture your imagination as well as fill your memory cards with their distinct beauty. It is not only about the smaller creatures, for not 50km away is a massive seal colony that is full of creative photo options.
The further north you head, the more remote the countryside becomes, so remote in fact that the wildlife roams freely without any obstruction by man. Here you find the desert roaming elephants along with Hartman’s mountain zebra and other animals. It’s a very special place in this world where animals such as elephant lion and cheetah can live a free existence outside of man’s interference. This though, is Namibia.
When you think it couldn’t get any better, Namibia offers you Etosha, one of the greatest wildlife reserves in Africa. The sheer number of animals at the waterholes in Etosha will astound you over and over again. It never ceases to fail with its constant stream of animals. C4 runs dedicated scheduled photo workshops into Namibia. We also plan a number of private safari options in Namibia. A country this large has many options available. It has an excellent infrastructure for travel and as such we are able to connect you to the many wonderful experiences it has to offer quite easily
