This country has various tribes in very remote areas that provides spectacular photography in addition to a fully immersive experience. The Mundari and Dinka tribes are the most famous of these - especially in their large cattle camps with the large horned Ankole Watusi cattle.

Politically, the country is unstable. As such all safaris to South Sudan are planned carefully around any strife. The tourism sector is underdeveloped and so trips to the cattle camps are in basic camping conditions.
